Moat Hall Barns Wedding - Imogen and Jack

Imy and Jack’s late April wedding at Moat Hall Barns was an absolute blast from start to finish! Imy arrived in style in her dad’s vintage 2CV, which he had lovingly polished and decorated for the big occasion, and she and Jack made use of the Top Barn’s mezzanine Hayloft to have a quiet first “not-look” just before the ceremony where the pair were able to stand without being able to see each other, but still share a quiet moment together just before walking down the aisle, which I thought was such a fab idea!

On the morning the sky was overcast so the couple were delighted that it stayed dry for the outdoor ceremony at the venue’s gorgeous lakeside gazebo as they had hoped. Thankfully the rain held off for Imy and Jack’s beautiful ceremony and drinks reception, where the two absolutely nailed their dip kiss during their confetti walk! After enjoying canapes and catching up with their guests, the lakeside beckoned for some couple’s portraits before heading in for dinner and speeches, and we made use of the stunning gardens post-dinner for a few more pictures before kicking off the action in the Covered Yard. In lieu of a cake, Jack and Imy had made a cake-shaped pinata stuffed with sweets, and board games and a “test your strength” game kept everyone entertained until the dancefloor opened. Best man Ali surprised the couple with a gift of a pair of lightsabers, which led to some awesome battles out on the grassy paddock to round off the evening. I had such a fun day capturing memories for Jack and Imogen - thank you both!
