Georgina and Carl chose a traditional ceremony in the beautiful and historic St. Michael the Archangel church in Llanyblodwel before travelling in a classic 1930’s Wolseley car to the stunning Courtyard Venue, a short drive away just outside Oswestry on the Welsh border. Surrounded by gorgeous Shropshire countryside, the rustic restored stone barns, sunny central courtyard and beautiful gardens provided a lovely setting for Carl and Georgina’s reception in the warm September sunshine.
Georgina’s elegant dress was complemented beautifully by her bouquet of white and pale yellow flowers. The butter yellow silk of her bridesmaid’s dresses brought a lovely warmth, while Carl and his groomsmen looked dapper in tuxedos and black bowties. Despite the sun it was quite a breezy day and Georgina did well to hang onto her super-long veil as the wind whipped it about!
One of my favourite things about this lovely wedding is how much laughter and joy there was - I don’t think Georgina stopped smiling all day! I had a fantastic time capturing Carl and Georgina’s celebrations whilst second shooting for the wonderful Jessica Hopwood Photography (www.jessicahopwood.com).
