Historic family-run venue Tyn Dwr Hall is a Grade II-listed country hall just outside Llangollen, surrounded by gorgeous Welsh hills and stunning countryside, providing a perfect location for wedding celebrations.

Built in 1865, the hall boasts a wealth of gorgeous original features, including the grand sweeping staircase in the entrance hall, ornate fireplaces and stained glass windows. On rainy days, the elegant Snug, Drawing Room and Dining Room provide plenty of space for guests to mingle and enjoy drinks and canapes, while the Terrace is a fantastic spot to soak up the sun on warmer days. Alongside the historic hall, the addition of the bright and spacious contemporary Garden Room is a gorgeous setting for a wedding breakfast, seating up to 150 guests and offering stunning views across the gardens and out over the landscape through expansive windows.

The light and elegant Ballroom provides a romantic setting for the wedding ceremony, with space for up to 120 guests, where couples exchange vows and rings in front of the ornately carved sandstone fireplace that is one of my favourite details at Tyn Dwr. In warmer months the Summer House offers a beautiful outdoor ceremony option that can accommodate up to 150 guests within the stunning grounds and gardens. Tyn Dwr Hall also offers a lovely range of overnight guest accommodation for up to 66 people, including nine beautiful bedrooms in the Hall, eight in the Coach House, three rooms in the charming 17th century Yew Tree Cottage, and four yurts in the Glamping Village tucked away in the woodland.

I would love to hear from couples planning a wedding at Tyn Dwr Hall - please get in touch and let’s chat about your plans for the big day!
