The stunning Courtyard Venue, a short drive away just outside Oswestry on the Welsh border, is surrounded by gorgeous Shropshire countryside, and features rustic restored stone barns, a sunny central courtyard and beautiful gardens lovingly tended by owners Simon and Tig. The interior of the barns have been whitewashed and the exposed beams adorned with fairy lights, giving a welcoming Mediterranean feel that is echoed in the warm stone and planting in the courtyard. The house’s private gardens are resplendent, featuring deep borders bursting with bright flowers, elegant topiary, and romantic corners for couples to enjoy a quiet moment together.

The Courtyard Venue only offers a limited number of wedding bookings each year, and each booking includes exclusive three-day hire. The venue’s ceremony room comfortably seats 110 guests, while the long tithe barn seats 120 for the wedding breakfast among birch trees and a sparkling canopy of lights high above in the rafters. Within the grounds of the estate the charming Gate House cottage provides the perfect place to wake up on the morning of your wedding, enjoy a glass of champagne as you prepare for the day ahead, and to accommodate the newlyweds on their wedding evening.

Are you planning a Courtyard Venue wedding celebration? I’d love to hear from you!
