Grade 1-listed Hawkstone Hall is a stunning historic country house nestled in the Shropshire countryside, just a 30-minute drive from Shrewsbury, and offers a beautiful backdrop for wedding celebrations. Its a wonderful wedding venue in all seasons, with a huge choice of spaces to suit all weddings no matter the weather or number of guests. The bright and airy Chapel features large arched windows and an azure ceiling, providing a gorgeous setting for ceremonies, while the grandeur of the Ballroom, with its gilt ceiling and grand fireplace is a fantastic choice for a wedding breakfast sure to impress your guests! One of my favourite rooms at Hawkstone Hall is the spacious Saloon, with ample space to mingle and enjoy drinks and canapes overlooked by grand paintings. I also love the light-filled Winter Garden, which is the perfect spot for photos even on dull or rainy days. The Snug Bar and Library also add gorgeous character - there truly are so many wonderful spots to discover.

When it comes to getting ready for the big day, Hawkstone Hall offers some fantastic spaces, including the Cave, with pool and foosball tables, cosy sofas and cool lighting, and the bright and elegant Bronte Suite supplying plenty of room for preparations. Hawkstone Hall also boasts 22 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, perfect for couples portraits by the lily pond or in the rose garden, through to the apple orchard and shady forest paths. If you venture out past the front of the Hall you might meet Hawkstone’s resident llamas, who are very friendly and love to say hello! As evening draws in the action moves to the Refectory, where the black-and-white tiled floor is perfect for dancing. After the party, Hawkstone Hall offers 37 bedrooms and suites to accommodate your guests.

Are you planning a Hawkstone Hall wedding? I’d love to hear about your big day!
