North Shropshire wedding venue Burlton Manor is situated between Shrewsbury and Ellesmere, and features a restored Georgian red brick barn, dating back to 1798, which boasts rustic charm alongside contemporary touches.
The first floor Ceremony Room can seat 150 guests and features vintage brick walls, exposed beams and antler chandeliers for a charming countryside feel. Alternatively couples can opt for an outdoor ceremony of up to 300 guests in the paved Secret Garden, or out on the lawns overlooked by a cherub fountain. Dinner is served in the Main Barn, a spacious room with a soaring vaulted ceiling that can seat up to 200 guests, and has doors which open onto the Secret Garden and the terrace to bring the outside in on warm days. Burlton Manor’s extensive grounds feature lots of lovely spots for couples portraits, including the garden temple, dual oak swing and the lavender bridge. Burlton Manor can be hired for one or two days, has a range of accommodation options for up to 70 guests, and couples are welcome to bring their dogs (or horses!) to share in their special day.
I’d love to chat with couples planning a wedding at Burlton Manor to discuss how I can capture your celebrations!
